Climate Control (Z) Ltd is a mechanical contracting company specialized in Heating, Ventilation, Air conditioning systems and fire protection systems. The company was incorporated under the company act of the laws of Zambia in 2007.<\/p>\n
Climate Control (Z) Ltd is seeking for a\u00a0MECHANICAL ENGINEER\u00a0to join our operations at our Lusaka office. The engineer should have the following attributes:<\/p>\n
Design and Analysis: Develop HVAC system designs, perform load calculations, select appropriate equipment and prepare detailed specifications for residential, commercial and industrial projects.
\nInstallation Oversight: Supervise and coordinate HVAC system installations, ensuring compliance with engineering designs, safety standards, and building codes.
\nMaintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct regular inspections, perform preventive maintenance, and resolve system inefficiencies or mechanical malfunctions.
\nCollaboration: Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and construction managers to integrate HVAC systems into building designs.
\nDocumentation and Reporting: Prepare technical reports, system documentation and compliance records for ongoing operations and audits.
\nInnovation and Sustainability: Implement energy efficient solutions, integrate sustainable technologies and stay updated with the latest HVAC advancements.<\/p>\n
Required Skills and Competencies<\/p>\n
Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and HVAC design principles.
\nProficiency in HVAC design software such as CAD and proprietary manufacturer tools.
\nExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
\nEffective communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate with multi disciplinary teams.
\nAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
Education: Bachelor\u2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
\nCertifications: Professional licenses or certifications such as Engineering Institution of Zambia, (EIZ).
\nExperience: Prior experience in HVAC system design, installation, or maintenance is preferred, with senior roles requiring leadership in project delivery.<\/p>\n
These are full-time position and the successful candidates must be available to work weekdays and weekends.
