\nSCOPE
\nProvides technical support in Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance. Maintains and improves machines and equipment to increase or maintain a high level of reliability, availability, cost efficiency and performance outcomes and customer relations, and teamwork.
\nReports To: Site Operations Manager \/ Junior Site Operations Manager<\/p>\n
Liaises with: Service Operations \/ Technical and customers.<\/p>\n
Main Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Electrical Mechanical and Maintenance operations
\nPreventive maintenance, perform corrective actions, support planning and preparation, monitors outcome, documentation (outcome, root cause time, improvements)
\nConduct Risk Assessments, Shift Reporting, and Incident Reporting
\nWork in accordance with standard operating procedures
\nAchievement of Key performance indicators
\nFollow quality and cleanliness standards
\nCommunication of operational status and any deviations
\nSafety and housekeeping (5S) requirements
\nComply with all Safe operation practices
\nMentoring, Supporting and Train Client artisans with relation to Normet machine diagnosis, maintenance and repair
\nContinuous improvements and development on a personal and operational level<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
Grade 12 \/ N3 Technical Qualification \/ Equivalent Qualification
\nSection 13 Trade Certificate Millwright
\nBasic Computer literacy, Microsoft excel, word, PowerPoint and outlook
\nBe able to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
\nEnglish proficiency
\nRelevant mining experience (5+ years)
\nUnderground mining environment in the production section
\nWill be required to work shifts
\nMember of the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ) with a valid certificate
\nValid silicosis certificate<\/p>\n
