Purpose of the Role
\nThe IT Officer will be responsible for overseeing the Firm\u2019s IT infrastructure, systems security, data backup processes, user support services, and providing IT-related support to assurance teams in testing systems controls during audit engagements, to ensure efficient and secure business operations across all offices.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Manage the Firm\u2019s IT systems, networks, and infrastructure;
\nEnsure regular backup, recovery, and protection of Firm data;
\nMonitor cybersecurity controls and respond to IT incidents;
\nProvide technical support to users and ensure timely resolution of IT issues;
\nOffer support to assurance teams during audits, including testing IT general controls and application controls such as user access, change management, backup, security and system configuration controls;
\nMaintain system security, software updates, and antivirus protection;
\nEnsure compliance with Firm policies and ISQM requirements;
\nPrepare IT reports and maintain IT documentation and inventories;<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field;
\nMinimum of 3\u20135 years\u2019 relevant work experience;
\nProfessional IT certifications will be an added advantage;
\nExperience supporting IT audits, systems control testing, or assurance engagements will be an added advantage;
\nStrong knowledge of networks, servers, cybersecurity, and backup systems.<\/p>\n
