Job Description
\nThis role involves the transportation of the raw materials around the factory.
\nSome of the responsibilities include
\n1. Loading\/Unloading: Move raw avocados from trucks to the warehouse for ripening.
\n2. Transporting: Move fruit to various factory stages to keep the processing line running.
\n3. Forklift Operation: Operate the forklift safely and keep it in good working condition.
\n4. Maintenance: Perform equipment repairs and report any machinery issues to supervisors.
\n5. Safety Adherence: Follow all workplace safety rules and procedures at all times.
\n6. Stock Tracking: Help with inventory counts and tracking fruit origin (traceability).
\n7. Coordination: Collaborate with all departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
\n8. Process Improvement: Suggest more efficient ways to organise and run the warehouse.
\n9. Safety Implementation: Apply food safety standards throughout the entire processing cycle.
\n10. SHEQ Compliance: Follow all health, environmental, and quality rules during your shift.
\n10. Meetings & Audits: Participate in food safety meetings and official inspections.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Requirements<\/p>\n
1. Certified forklift operator with a valid driving license and 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
\n2. Expert knowledge of Food Safety (FSMS), Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) standards.
\n3. Strong analytical skills used to identify root causes and perform maintenance to meet operational targets.<\/p>\n
