The\u00a0key purpose\u00a0as a Tech Operations Manager, you will be at the forefront of our Tech Strategy, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of our systems. You will lead a local team of IT professionals and collaborate with regional and global counterparts to implement best practices and innovative solutions.

\nKey roles and responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Oversee the day-to-day operations of our IT Systems for Zambia. Including hands-on support from time to time
\nImplement and support IT strategies that align with our business goals
\nManage IT projects, ensuring timely completion within budget
\nFoster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the local systems department
\nEnsure compliance with IT standards, policies, and regulations
\nProvide leadership and guidance to your team, nurturing talent and encouraging professional growth
\nSupport the Zambia management team to align with technology leads in Africa and Global Tech Teams
\nSupport the execution of local business strategy
\nAccountable for availability, stability, and performance of core IT services (end\u2011user, infrastructure, network, applications)
\nOwn and manage major incidents, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
\nEnsure effective execution of IT service management processes (incident, problem, change)
\nAct as the single point of accountability for Tech service delivery and operational performance in Zambia<\/p>\n
Key attributes and competencies:<\/p>\n
Proven track record of managing Tech Operations and managing teams
\nStrong project management skills and experience with cross-functional collaboration
\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
\nExperience with managing Tech suppliers
\nStrong problem-solving mindset with the ability to make pragmatic decisions
\nAbility to work independently in an ambiguous environment
\nExposure to ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Syspro) in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
\nComfortable operating in resource\u2011constrained and high\u2011pressure environments
\nProven ability to influence without authority in matrixed organisations<\/p>\n

\nMinimum requirements:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
\nAt least 6 to 8 years of experience in Tech management operations, preferably in the CPG industry<\/p>\n
