{"id":8503,"date":"2026-05-19T10:00:20","date_gmt":"2026-05-19T10:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/material-officer-at-china-civil-engineering-construction-corporation\/"},"modified":"2026-05-19T10:00:28","modified_gmt":"2026-05-19T10:00:28","slug":"material-officer-at-china-civil-engineering-construction-corporation","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/material-officer-at-china-civil-engineering-construction-corporation\/","title":{"rendered":"Material Officer at China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Material Officer \u2013 CCECC Team (TAZARA Project)<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0Lusaka<br \/>\nEmployer:\u00a0China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation under the TAZARA Project<br \/>\nCCECC invites suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the position of\u00a0Material Officer\u00a0to support operations under the TAZARA team in Lusaka.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<br \/>\n\u00b7 Manage day-to-day materials-related activities for the project.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Monitor receipt, storage, issuance, and tracking of engineering materials and daily supplies.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Coordinate procurement and replenishment of required materials.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Liaise with suppliers and vendors within the local market.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Ensure timely delivery and availability of materials for site operations.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Conduct regular stock checks and prepare inventory reports.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Support logistics and material movement activities as required.<br \/>\nRequirements<br \/>\n\u00b7 Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Familiarity with engineering materials, construction supplies, and daily operational materials.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Good knowledge of the local market and suppliers in Zambia.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Ability to work independently and under pressure.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Good communication and coordination skills.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.<br \/>\nPreferred Qualifications<br \/>\n\u00b7 Candidates who can drive and possess a valid driver\u2019s licence will have an added advantage.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Previous experience in construction, railway, or engineering projects is preferred.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
