{"id":8551,"date":"2026-05-21T16:00:58","date_gmt":"2026-05-21T16:00:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/hr-manager-employee-relations-focus-at-saasa-b2e\/"},"modified":"2026-05-21T16:01:19","modified_gmt":"2026-05-21T16:01:19","slug":"hr-manager-employee-relations-focus-at-saasa-b2e","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/hr-manager-employee-relations-focus-at-saasa-b2e\/","title":{"rendered":"HR Manager \u2013 Employee Relations Focus at SAASA B2E"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Description<br \/>\nPosition:\u00a0HR Manager \u2013 Employee Relations Focus<\/p>\n<p>Location:\u00a0Zambia\u00a0Lusaka South Multi\u2011Facility Economic Zone<br \/>\nSalary:\u00a0ZMW 30,000 \u2013 40,000 per month\u00a0\u00a0The work schedule is 5.5 days per week.<br \/>\nAdvertise jobs Zambia<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<br \/>\nEmployee Relations &amp; Case Management<br \/>\n\u25cfLead all employee relations initiatives, including disciplinary actions, workplace disputes, grievances, and conflict resolution.<br \/>\n\u25cfPrepare and issue warning letters, disciplinary documents, and performance improvement plans in compliance with company policies and Zambian labor laws.<\/p>\n<p>\u25cfRepresent the company in labor office matters and coordinate with relevant authorities when employee cases escalate.<br \/>\n\u25cfMaintain impartiality while managing sensitive employee issues, ensuring fair and consistent enforcement of policies.<br \/>\nHR Operations &amp; Recruitment<br \/>\n\u25cfOversee recruitment processes, from job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, to onboarding.<br \/>\n\u25cfDevelop and maintain job descriptions, competency frameworks, and workforce planning strategies.<br \/>\n\u25cfPartner with line managers to identify talent gaps and implement retention strategies.<\/p>\n<p>Compensation &amp; Benefits<br \/>\n\u25cfSupport payroll and benefits administration, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies.<br \/>\n\u25cfReview and recommend improvements to compensation structures and HR programs to attract and retain top talent.<br \/>\nCompliance &amp; Policy Implementation<br \/>\n\u25cfEnsure all HR practices comply with Zambian labor laws and internal policies.<br \/>\n\u25cfConduct training for managers and employees on HR policies, labor law compliance, and disciplinary processes.<\/p>\n<p>\u25cfMonitor and improve HR processes to minimize risks and improve employee engagement.<br \/>\nReporting &amp; Continuous Improvement<br \/>\n\u25cfMaintain accurate employee records, case documentation, and HR reports.<br \/>\n\u25cfAnalyze HR trends and employee relations data to recommend preventive measures to senior management.<br \/>\n\u25cfProactively identify HR risks and provide professional recommendations.<br \/>\nRequired Experience &amp; Qualifications:<\/p>\n<p>\u25cfBachelor\u2019s degree or higher in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.<br \/>\n\u25cfMinimum 5+ years in HR, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, primarily focused on employee relations.<br \/>\n\u25cfProven experience in\u00a0large-scale manufacturing operations (500+ employees), preferably in companies like Trade Kings or Big Trade.<br \/>\n\u25cfSolid understanding of Zambian labor laws, HR policies, disciplinary procedures, and dispute resolution processes.<br \/>\n\u25cfStrong leadership, communication, investigation, and problem-solving skills.<br \/>\nCommunications &amp; Media Studies<\/p>\n<p>\u25cfHands-on experience in recruitment, payroll, and benefits administration.<br \/>\nPreferred:<br \/>\n\u25cfExperience implementing HR initiatives in high-volume manufacturing environments.<br \/>\n\u25cfAbility to handle complex employee relations cases while balancing operational needs and compliance requirements.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
