JOB PURPOSETo assist the project Manager by ensuring the mineral processing unit and all supporting elements are in good working order and serviced regularly to maintain continuous production throughout the project duration.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
\nConduct daily inspection for the mineral processing unit
\nGenerate and implement processing unit maintenance schedule.
\nInvestigate, diagnose, and repair processing unit when and as required.
\nAdhere to workplace health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards and report hazards or incidents immediately.
\nEnsure compliance with all safety regulations and operational procedures.
\nIdentify critical production stoper spare parts\/consumables and ensure they are procured and stocked onsite.
\nConsult manufacturers\u2019 manuals to determine interval of replacement on some units and propose changes to maintenance procedures if any.
\nEnsure timely reporting of defects\/breakdowns and repair on the processing unit.
\nCarry out any other activities as assigned by the Supervisor.
\nMust be willing to work in shifts, including weekends if necessary.

Job Requirements
\n\u00a0
\nEducation Minimum requirement
\nGrade 12 Certificate
\nCraft\/Technician Certificate in Plant Fitting\/Mechanical Engineering from recognized institution.
\nMust be a member of Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ \/ ERB)<\/p>\n
Must at least possess working experience in a similar role of not less than 2 years.
\nSkills and competencies
\nStrong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset.
\nGood communication skills.
\nPhysically fit to handle the demands of the job.
\nProblem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions.
\nGood team player and able to coordinate work with minimum supervision.
\nProficient in Microsoft office suite.
\nExperience in writing reports
\nWorking Environment
\nJob holder exposed to project site working environment in remote locations. The job holder will be stationed at the Rufunsa mining site or any assigned site.
