VACANCY \u2013 BILLING RECONCILIATION ACCOUNTANT

We are looking for a competent, analytical and detail-oriented\u00a0Billing & Reconciliation Accountant\u00a0to join our growing Finance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing billing operations, performing account reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and records.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n\u2022 Prepare, review and process invoices and billing transactions.
\n\u2022 Perform account reconciliations including invoices, payments, customer accounts and ledger balances.
\n\u2022 Identify, investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and unreconciled items.
\n\u2022 Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding balances where necessary.
\n\u2022 Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliation schedules.
\n\u2022 Prepare periodic billing and reconciliation reports for management review.
\n\u2022 Support month-end closing, audits and financial reporting processes.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures, internal controls and finance policies.
\n\u00a0
\nMinimum Requirements
\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
\n\u2022 Professional qualification (ZICA \/ ACCA \/ CIMA or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
\n\u2022 Minimum 4 years\u2019 relevant experience in accounting, billing, reconciliation or finance functions.
\n\u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
\n\u2022 Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
\n\u2022 Excellent attention to detail, integrity and ability to meet deadlines.
