\nPOSITION SUMMARY
\nThe role is responsible for supporting the efficient operation and maintenance of the biscuit plant through active involvement in production, maintenance, and engineering support activities. The incumbent will assist in managing plant operations, troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns, collecting and analyzing breakdown data, and supporting inventory control processes. The position also provides technical support in developing plant layouts and coordinating new installations using AUTOCAD, while working closely with the Head of Department and shift leads to ensure smooth plant operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

\nLOCATION: LUSAKA
\nMAIN RESPONSIBILTIES<\/p>\n
Implementation of maintenance techniques through OEM guidelines.
\nAttending to plant mechanical breakdowns.
\nTeam management by individual tasking & ensuring collaboration within the unit.
\nIdentify, access & mitigate repeated machine failures through observation & Study.
\nDevelop a detailed breakdown failure historical data & track the repeated failures with concrete solutions.
\nContinuous communication with reporting team & reporting managers having clarity on pertaining challenges.
\nUse appropriate techniques to manage changes in plant equipment equally guiding reporting team members with required knowledge.
\nTo exercise control on inventory during issuance & update HOD with upcoming inventory challenges.
\nCompile reports in each shift regarding machine failures & communicate the same to shift managers.
\nDevelop CAD layouts for new plant relocations in-house changes & already planned projects.
\nAdvise, assist & communicate plant bottlenecks to reporting staff along with possible solutions to develop their skills.
\nCoordinate internal resources and third parties\/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
\nAssign manpower knowing their capabilities at specific maintenance task aiming maximum individual as well as equipment efficiency.
\nFoster a culture of continuous improvement & learning by execution team.
\nUtilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
\nEnsure temporary fixtures are removed with permeant solutions after regular plant technical evaluations.
\nTo control the quality of store spares (procured \/ fabricated \/ overhauled & revamped)\u00a0Creating long- and short-term plans, for maintenance in accordance with production leads to arrange require equipment for maintenance.<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS \/ EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
Degree in Mechanical\/ Electrical Engineering
\n1- 2 years of hands-on experience in relevant field.
\nSound understanding of mechanical operations & installations.
\nStrong leadership and team handling skills with good communication ability.
\nFamiliar with biscuit plant operations along with regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n
Technical Skills Required<\/p>\n
Hands-on experience with project management at site.
\nExcellent communication and coordination abilities.

\nThrough knowledge regarding FMCG bylaws & process.
