\nOne of our NGO clients has engaged Brilliance Executive Management Consultancy Limited (BEMCONSULT) to recruit targeting candidates from Zambia\u2019s NGO sector with\u00a0WASH project experience.
\nJob Purpose
\nThe Hygiene Promotion Specialist will lead hygiene behaviour change interventions in communities and institutions.
\nSummary of Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Develop hygiene promotion strategy
\nDevelop a Sanitation Marketing Strategy
\nIdentify and propose interventions for hygiene promotion in communities, schools and HCFs
\nLead training of hygiene promoters, Community Champions, WASH Clubs and MHM Committees in participatory hygiene promotion approaches
\nCoordinate with the MEAL Officer to conduct school WASH mapping activities
\nCoordinate implementation of MHM and sanitation marketing activities
\nMonitor and document adoption of positive hygiene behaviour<\/p>\n

Good communication skills especially interpersonal skills
\nExcellent facilitation skills
\nExposure to participatory community engagement approaches
\nKnowledge child protection policies and practices
\nExcellent Reporting skills
\nGood Engagement Skills<\/p>\n

Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Public Health with experience in applying participatory health and hygiene education approaches.
\nMust have at least a minimum of 3-5 years\u2019 experience in hygiene promotion and behaviour change interventions with an international NGO
\nMust be conversant with existing synergies among Ministries of Health, Education and Local Government to facilitate change\u00a0
\nMust have proven experience in hygiene promotion for WASH projects
\nGood understanding of national strategies and plans on WASH and public health and hygiene<\/p>\n
