\nOverall Job Purpose
\nThe Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining reliable and scalable data pipelines and platforms that support reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making. This role focuses on implementing robust data solutions that integrate data from multiple sources, while ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
\nThe position involves hands-on development of ETL processes, data models, and pipelines, working closely with platform, analytics, and business teams to deliver clean, structured, and timely data.

\nSpecific Job Responsibility<\/p>\n
Design, build, and maintain end to end data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and delivering data
\nDesign and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines (batch and real-time)
\nEnsure seamless integration across IT, OT, and analytics platforms
\nEnsure high availability, reliability, and performance of data platforms
\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions aligned to business needs
\nTranslate business requirements into scalable technical solutions<\/p>\n
Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions for business improvement.<\/p>\n

\nJob Specific Competencies<\/p>\n
Strong analytical skills and ability to analyse complex data sets and assist drive data-influenced decisions.
\nHigh level proficiency in Python and SQL
\nExperience with cloud-native services and platforms (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse,\u00a0 BigQuery)<\/p>\n
Report writing<\/p>\n

\nBachelor\u2019s Degree in\u00a0\u00a0Computer\u00a0Science, Data Engineering, or a related field (Master\u2019s degree preferred).<\/p>\n
