\nDirect Reports: 4 to 5 members
\nJob Purpose
\nTo support financial control through accurate accounting, efficient working capital management, budgeting, and performance tracking.
\nOrganogram
\nKey responsibilities
\nAccounting & Financial Reporting
\nMaintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with applicable
\naccounting standards and company policies.
\nEnsure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
\nPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and
\nschedules.
\nPreparation of management accounts, financial statements, and audit
\nsupport documentation.Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (taxes,
\nfilings, audits, etc.).
\nWorking Capital Management
\nMonitor and manage working capital components including receivables,
\npayables, inventory, and cash flows.
\nTrack debtor ageing and coordinate with commercial\/sales teams for
\ntimely collections.
\nReview creditor ageing and support efficient payment planning.
\nMonitor inventory levels and highlight slow-moving or obsolete stock.
\nPrepare cash flow forecasts and identify liquidity risks or improvement
\nopportunities.
\nPlanning, Budgeting & Forecasting
\nPreparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
\nWork with department heads to gather inputs and validate assumptions.
\nTrack actual performance against budgets and forecasts.
\nAnalyze variances and provide meaningful insights and explanations.
\nAssist in long-term financial planning and scenario analysis where required.
\nPerformance Tracking & MIS
\nDevelop and maintain financial MIS and dashboards for management
\nreview.
\nTrack key financial and operational KPIs and highlight trends and risks.
\nProvide timely, accurate, and decision-oriented reports to management.
\nSupport performance review meetings with analysis and data.
\nProcess Improvement & Controls
\nImplementation and strengthening of internal controls.
\nIdentify process gaps and recommend improvements in finance
\noperations.
\nAutomation and system improvements (ERP \/ accounting systems).
\nEnsure adherence to company policies and standard operating
\nprocedures.
\nKey Qualifications & Requirements
\nQualified Chartered Accountant, ACCA, CIMA, CMA, or
\nequivalent; or
\nBachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master\u2019s
\ndegree is an advantage).
\n7+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles.
\nExperience in budgeting, working capital management, and MIS
\nreporting is essential.
\nPersonal Characteristics and Behavioral Traits:
\nStrong accounting and financial analysis skills.
\nGood understanding of working capital and cash flow
\nmanagement.
\nHands-on experience with budgeting and forecasting.
\nStrong Excel skills; ERP\/system experience preferred.
\nAbility to interpret data and present insights clearly.
\nGood communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
