\nLivelihoods Field Officer \u2013 Zimba District
\nEnvironment Africa Zambia (EAZ) is seeking a qualified and motivated\u00a0Livelihoods Field Officer\u00a0for an\u00a018-month contract\u00a0under the project\u00a0\u201cStrengthening the Resilience of Children, Youth and Vulnerable Smallholder Households in Southern Province, Zambia, to the Impacts of Climate Change,\u201d funded by Kindernothilfe, Germany.
\nBased in\u00a0Zimba District, the successful candidate will support the implementation of activities focused on\u00a0climate-smart agriculture, nutrition, sustainable forest management, and disaster risk reduction.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Implement climate-smart agriculture interventions with small-scale farmers.
\nSupport community counselling services on nutrition and health issues.
\nAssist communities in developing and implementing forest management plans.
\nStrengthen and support local Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Satellite Committees.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Agriculture, Natural Resources Management, or a related field.
\nMinimum of two (2) years\u2019 experience in a similar role, particularly in climate-smart agriculture and community development.
\nStrong communication, facilitation, and community engagement skills.
\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.<\/p>\n
