About Marist Brothers High School, Dete Marist Brothers High School Dete popularly known as “Marist Dete” is a mixed boarding school located in Dete which is under Hwange District, Matebeleland North, Zimbabwe. The school was established in 1972 and is part of the international family of the Marist Schools run by the Marist Brothers, a Catholic society founded in 1817 by Saint Marcellin Champagnat in France. It offers classes from form 1 – 6. It also offers Advanced Level Sciences, Commercials and Arts and also a wide range of practical subjects like Motor Mechanics, Wood Work, Technical Graphics, Fashion & Fabrics, Food & Nutrition etc. It is also the Science Center for schools in the Hwange Rural District. The school is divided into four colour coded ‘Houses’, Champagnat(Yellow), Lwanga (Red), Mzilikazi (Blue) and Mafuyana (Green). Various sports are are available. The main ones are football, netball, volleyball, basketball and track events. There are better sports facilities and many large grounds.

Marist Brothers is a mission school .It is looking for a Boarding Master whose primary responsibility is to look at the welfare of male students/ Doing school errands
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties-To be in charge with the overall welfare of the male students-Maintain discipline in the boys’ hostels-Maintain high standards of hygiene in the boys’ hostels and surroundings-Maintain students’ safety and the safety of their possessionsDrive – Drive the school bus and other vehicles
Qualifications and Experience
REQUIREMENTS-The suitable candidate must be of FIRM character-Should be aged between 40-55 years old-Posses a revevant education education diploma or any job related diploma-Former police officers are also to be considered for the job-Fluent in English Language-Fluent in Nambya or Ndebele LanguageThe applicant must have ( driving)1. a clean class one (1) driver’s licence2. A valid Defensive Driving licence3. A valid medical certificate
