Job Description
A busy Medical Centre in Granary, Harare is inviting applications from a suitably qualified and experienced Medical Practitioner to take up the position of Medical Practitioner-in-Charge (MPIC).
Duties and Responsibilities
Overall coordination and supervision of clinical servicesEnsuring adherence to professional, ethical, and regulatory standardsMentorship and support of nursing and support staffParticipation in service development and community outreachAvailability for scheduled clinics and emergency consultations
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Requirements:MBChB or equivalent medical degreeFull registration with the Medical and Dental Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe (MDPCZ)Valid Open Practising CertificateMinimum 5 years’ post-qualification clinical experienceExperience or interest in primary care, maternity services, and clinical administrationDemonstrated leadership and supervisory abilityWillingness to allow the medical centre to use his or her registration papers for licensing and regulatory purposes
