\n\t\t\t\tThe EUNOR GUTI ACADEMY BULAWAYO is seeking a skilled and motivated Sciences Teacher to promote STEM education and should major in chemistry\/biology. Your job is to ensure a safe and fun learning environment in which students develop a sense of self-discovery and an intrinsic motivation to learn.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022 Conduct classes and deliver lessons that promote learning and interest in Sciences.\u2022 Provide supervision and care to children in classrooms and during outdoor activities.\u2022 Communicate student progress and concerns to the appropriate authorities, including parents, administration, and support staff.\u2022 Prepare lessons for students in specific subjects, creating individualized learning experiences as needed.\u2022 Adhere to all classroom and school rules and regulations, ensuring a secure and nurturing environment for children.\u2022 Establish and enforce rules of student behavior, classroom expectations, and procedures.\u2022 Support the education and care of children by working with families and guardians to inform them about student development.\u2022 Coordinate and participate in the planning and execution of school and classroom events, including curriculum days and holidays.\u2022 Participate in school meetings and conferences.<\/p>\n
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
1. Must be at least 28 years old and above2. A holder of a teaching qualification and a degree (BSc\/BED in Chemistry\/Biology)3. Ability to teach to A-level4. MUST have a christian background5. Should be based in Bulawayo6. Must be readily available by the 1st of July 2025<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022 5 years teaching experience required\u2022 College degree in teaching required (BSc\/BED with Chemistry\/Biology as a major)\u2022 Knowledge of child psychology and\/or education theory is preferred.\u2022 Experience planning and implementing teaching strategies and methods.\u2022 Ability to establish and maintain rapport with children and families.\u2022 Effective and professional written and oral communication skills.\u2022 Participation in extramural activities is an added advantage\u2022 MUST have a Christian background<\/p>\n
