\n\t\t\t\tOur organization is looking for a qualified and competent person, to join our Procurement and Logistics department as a Driver. The incumbent picks, verifies, collect and deliver orders requested and proceeds to various customers and branches<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tTransporting goods and\/or packages to and from destinations\u2022\tArriving at destinations on schedule\u2022\tMaintaining an organized travel schedule.\u2022\tCommunicating with clients, dispatchers, or other staff members professionally\u2022\tEnsuring that the vehicle is always fuelled and ready for use\u2022\tFollowing all national and local traffic laws and regulations\u2022\tInspecting the vehicle daily for cleanliness and maintenance needs\u2022\tChecking fuel level and ensuring the vehicle is well-maintained\u2022\tPlanning the most efficient routes to destinations\u2022\tLoading and unloading goods for clients and internal branches\u2022\tVerifying stock on picking and collecting.\u2022\tEnsuring the safety of goods\u2022\tCash collection\u2022\tPicking up office purchases or other administrative needs.\u2022\tArranging for vehicle repairs when necessary.\u2022\tUpdating monthly mileage records.\u2022\tDriving a variety of vehicles, including cars, and trucks.\u2022\tAny other duties that may be assigned by the Manager.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tMinimum O level\u2022\tAble to read and write\u2022\tA valid class 2 driver\u2019s license\u2022\tDefensive Driving certificate\u2022\t2 years driving experience, class 3 for motorcycle is an added advantage.\u2022\tHonest and reliable\u2022\tExtensive knowledge of operating area.\u2022\tPhysical strength and ability to lift up to 70 pounds\u2022\tExcellent organizational and time management skills.\u2022\tExceptional interpersonal skills.\u2022\tGood verbal communication skills.<\/p>\n
