\n\t\t\t\tCandidates meeting the following requirements should apply:\u2022 Registered Pharmacist with at least 2 years\u2019 experience managing a Community Pharmacist.\u2022 Valid Practicing Certificate (OPC) with Pharmacist Council of Zimbabwe (PCZ).\u2022 Valid persons license with MCAZ\u2022 To manage an established community pharmacy in Bulawayo\u2022 Must be a highly self-motivated and personally driven individual\u2022 Able to provide clear and concise instructions\u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication skills\u2022 Strong time-management and organizational skills\u2022 Self-driven and motivated to increase efficiency and performance\u2022 Able to stand for long hours at a time<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tOverseeing sales assistants, cashiers, shelf stockers, and other pharmacy employees.\u2022 Preparing drugs and executing prescription orders for collection or delivery.\u2022 Ordering pharmacy supplies and controlling the inventory on a daily basis.\u2022 Enforcing best practice protocols when storing prescription drugs and controlled substances.\u2022 Verifying prescription details with the healthcare specialists who prescribed them, when required.\u2022 Advising customers about the recommended use, dosage, and possible side-effects of medication.\u2022 Maintaining an approved drug and controlled substances list and verifying expiry dates.\u2022 Monitoring product displays and shelves, as well as the general appearance of the pharmacy.\u2022 Addressing customers’ requests and complaints.\u2022 Appointing and training new pharmacy employees and scheduling shifts.\u2022 Demonstrable experience in a managerial capacity at a pharmacy.\u2022 In-depth knowledge of the pharmacological uses and side effects of prescription drugs and controlled substances.\u2022 Advanced knowledge of protocols regulating the safe storage of prescription drugs and controlled substances.\u2022 Exceptional communication skills in advising customers and managing employees.\u2022 Ability to proactively follow up any irregularities with scripts processed at the pharmacy.\u2022 Competency in pharmacy management software,\u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tA bachelor of pharmacy honors degree accredited by the accreditation council for pharmacy education.\u2022 At least 2 years\u2019 experience managing a Community Pharmacist.\u2022 Valid Practicing Certificate (OPC) with Pharmacist Council of Zimbabwe (PCZ).\u2022 Valid persons license with MCAZ<\/p>\n
