The role is crucial for maintaining day-to-day ICT service quality, including helpdesk operations, user account support, device setup, Microsoft 365 support, and basic system troubleshooting. Reporting to the ICT Officer, the specialist will also maintain an updated inventory of ICT assets and contribute to improving user satisfaction across all business units.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t1.\tEnd-User Support\uf0a7\tProvide Level 1 technical support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and VoIP phones.\uf0a7\tTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, hardware failures, and application errors.\uf0a7\tRespond to support tickets, walk-ins, and remote support requests via phone, email, or screen-sharing tools.2.\tMicrosoft 365 &amp; User Account Management\uf0a7\tSupport users with Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).\uf0a7\tAssist with account creation, password resets, license allocation, and permission troubleshooting.\uf0a7\tCoordinate with system admins for escalated user access and SharePoint group management.3.\tNew User Onboarding &amp; Offboarding\uf0a7\tPrepare and configure workstations and devices for new staff, ensuring adherence to ICT standards.\uf0a7\tConduct ICT orientation sessions for new users on systems usage and data security.\uf0a7\tDecommission and sanitize devices for offboarded users; ensure data archiving and access revocation.4.\tNetwork &amp; Peripheral Troubleshooting\uf0a7\tDiagnose basic LAN\/Wi-Fi issues, network printer connectivity, and shared resource access problems.\uf0a7\tCoordinate with infrastructure staff on escalated network and firewall-related incidents.5.\tICT Inventory Management\uf0a7\tMaintain up-to-date inventory of IT assets (PCs, laptops, routers, accessories).\uf0a7\tTrack allocations, warranty status, and maintenance logs for end-user devices.\uf0a7\tRecommend procurement of hardware\/software based on usage trends and incident frequency.6.\tDocumentation &amp; Reporting\uf0a7\tDocument support incidents, resolutions, and asset movements in the helpdesk system.\uf0a7\tPrepare weekly reports on recurring issues, system downtimes, and support trends.\uf0a7\tMaintain updated user guides and FAQs to reduce common issue escalation.7.\tBasic System Monitoring &amp; Escalation\uf0a7\tMonitor system health dashboards and report anomalies to senior technical staff.\uf0a7\tAssist with basic routine checks on backup status, server connectivity, and software updates.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\uf0a7\tDegree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.\uf0a7\t1\u20133 years of experience in a technical support or helpdesk role.\uf0a7\tProficiency in Microsoft Windows environments, Microsoft 365 support, and hardware troubleshooting.\uf0a7\tGood communication skills, a user-first mindset, and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\tHow to Apply<br \/>\n\t\t\t\tExperienced and qualified candidates to send CV&#8217;s on email hr@geopomona.com.
