Officers x 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Description<br \/>\n\t\t\t\tContract: Fixed Term Contract The Project Officers shall be responsible for efficient and effective implementation of all project activities in the Masvingo, Matabeleland South and Midlands provinces in compliance with the donor award regulations and with LCDZ policies and procedures.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\u25aa Responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the project \u201cStrengthening Civil Society Regional Partnerships in favour of the ratification of the African Disability Protocol (ADP)\u201d, in Masvingo, Matabeleland South and Midlands Provinces of Zimbabwe\u201d\u25aa Adherence to the methodology proposed on the project and ensure that it is appropriate to the Zimbabwe understanding and ensure that OPDs have improved organisational capacity and support functions to promote and influence fulfilment of rights of persons with disabilities, especially women and youths.\u25aa Ensure that Persons with disabilities, especially women and youth have increased awareness and agency on rights and governance issues at all levels.\u25aa Mobilise and register PWDs including women and youth with disabilities at ward level.  \u25aa Strengthen the involvement of youth and women with disabilities in WDCs, supporting Committees with leadership\/coordination\/advocacy skills.\u25aa Sensitising youth and women with disabilities on the law and policy making processes by engaging with mainstream human rights organisations involved in policy benchmarking to guide the process.\u25aa Supporting PWDs inclusive of women and youth to fully participate in law\/policy making and governance processes.\u25aa Provision of OPDs with technical support on policy review and benchmarking, policy monitoring, shadow reporting i.e. CRPD\/CEDAW, SDGs public budget analysis and public hearings guidance.\u25aa Supporting OPDs to be part of a wider movement, that share common goals of justice, human rights and democracy, and use the platform to hold decision-makers and duty-bearers accountable for disability inclusive public policy delivery.\u25aa Train OPDs on DiDRR and strengthen disability inclusive-community mechanisms for dispute resolution, using enhanced training modules\u25aa OPDs and their constituency are equipped with knowledge on DiDRR, SGBV and inclusive peace building and take action to support the building of equitable, inclusive, cohesive, and resilient communities.\u25aa Conduct advocacy and campaign training on rights of persons with disabilities through DPOs and CSOs\u25aa Analyse policy on climate justice for women and youth and produce a policy brief used to guide policy dialogues with national actors.\u25aa Conduct OPD led dialogues to improve community and leader level SGBV and peacebuilding related knowledge, attitudes and behaviours, changing harmful norms and beliefs that promote SGBV and conflict.  \u25aa Prepare and participate in the evaluation phases and implement any pertinent recommendations.\u25aa Provide initiatives to develop the project in relation to the Leonard Cheshire Disability strategy\u25aa Adhere to the design and implementation of LCDZ strategy, ensuring proper project performance, delivery and viability\u25aa Data Collections and providing technical programme support to the consortium member\/s.\u25aa Identifying safeguarding and other training needs for Project team members and stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\u25aa Degree in Social Sciences, Humanitarian or Development Studies or any other relevant area\u25aa Minimum of 3 years of progressive work experience within the disability sector or community development\u25aa Proven experience in project management and strong demonstratable skills in project design, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.\u25aa Deep knowledge and understanding on the rights of persons with disabilities and challenges they face in communities etc\u25aa Excellent understanding of disability inclusion and related legal and programme frameworks andStandards\u25aa Strong capacity to organise workload and meeting deadlines\u25aa Clean Class 4 Driver\u2019s license with at least 3 years driving experience.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\tHow to Apply<br
