\n\t\t\t\tPosition: Project CoordinatorContract: Fixed Term Contract The Project Coordinator shall be responsible for ensuring that the project functions efficiently and effectively in all financial, programmatic and operational matters in the 3 countries Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi. Ensuring that the project consistently and correctly implements sound financial, contractual and monitoring and evaluation systems so that project activities are implemented in compliance with the donor award regulations and LCDZ policies and procedures.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities________________________________________\u25aa Providing high level oversight over all areas of project implementation and operations.\u25aa Supervise the Project Officers in all 20 selected Districts in the 3 countries\u25aa Determine the methodology to be used on the project appropriate to the Zimbabwe understanding of African Disability Protocol.\u25aa Ensure Implementation of the disability policy which takes into account women, youths and children with disabilities.\u25aa Prepare and participate in the evaluation phases and implement any pertinent recommendations.\u25aa Provide initiatives to develop the project in relation to the Leonard Cheshire Disability strategy\u25aa Leading the design and implementation of LCDZ strategy, ensuring proper project performance and viability\u25aa Developing project proposals and resource mobilization mechanisms sufficient to ensure the financial health of the organization through direct fundraising, establishing consortiums and technical alliances.\u25aa Ensure the compliance of national and sub-office staff and volunteers with LCDZ policies, procedures and program guidelines as well as the local laws.\u25aa Data Collections and providing technical programme support to the consortium members.\u25aa Identifying safeguarding and other training needs for Project team members in the Consortium.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience________________________________________\u25aa Masters Degree in Special Needs Education, Social sciences, humanitarian or development studies or any other relevant area\u25aa Minimum of 5 years of progressive work experience in a leadership and or senior management role within the disability sector\u25aa Proven experience in organisational management and resource mobilization\u25aa Strong demonstratable skills in project design, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.\u25aa Good administrative skills\u25aa Deep knowledge and understanding on the rights of persons with disabilities and challenges in the humanitarian and development context\u25aa Excellent understanding of disability inclusion and related legal and programme frameworks andStandards\u25aa Strong capacity to organise workload and meeting deadlines even under pressure\u25aa Clean Class 4 Driver\u2019s licence with at least 3 years driving experience.<\/p>\n
