World Vision Zimbabwe invites qualified and experienced audit firms to submit proposals forconducting a financial audit of the El Nino Lifesaving Cash Project funded by the Swiss Agencyfor Development and Cooperation (SDC).Project Information:\u2022 Project Name: El Nino Lifesaving Cash Project\u2022 Donor: Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC)\u2022 Budget: USD 2,740,000.00\u2022 Start Date: 02 August, 2024\u2022 End Date: June 30, 2025\u2022 Technical Programming Area: Food Assistance Program\u2022 Geographic Coverage: Epworth, Harare\u2022 Address Where Accounting Records Are Kept: World Vision Zimbabwe, 59 Joseph Rd,Mt Pleasant, HarareAudit Terms of Reference:The audit shall be conducted in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA 805)\u201cSpecial Considerations Audits of Single Financial Statements and Specific Elements, Accounts orItems of a Financial Statement\u201d. The auditor must be independent, professionally competent, andexperienced, with certification by the National Audit Oversight Authority.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tKey Audit Objectives:1. 2. 3. 4. Financial Regularity: Ensure principles of orderliness in financial reporting.Internal Control System (ICS): Assess the existence, adequacy, and effectiveness of ICS.Project Objectives and Contract Conditions: Verify conformity with project objectivesand adherence to contract conditions.Economical Conduct: Evaluate the economical conduct of business and effective use offinancial resources.Documents of Reference:\u2022 National law\u2022 Agreement between FDFA and the partner\u2022 Project Document \/ TOR\u2022 Budgets, financing plans, programs of project activities\u2022 Project management procedures\u2022 Accounting documents subject to the financial audit\u2022 Financial and operational reports concerning the project\/programAudit Deliverables:\u2022 Audit Report: Opinion on financial information as per ISA.\u2022 Questionnaire: Responses to the principles of procedures performed.\u2022 Management Letter: Recommendations to management.\u2022 Management Representation Letter: Certification of full disclosure by the partner<\/p>\n
