\n\t\t\t\tZimbabwe Alloys Limited, a major producer of Ferro – chrome invites applications fromsuitably qualified and experienced candidates for appointment to the following position:SENIOR PLANT METALLURGIST<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tThe successful candidate will be responsible for the following: -\u2022 Ensuring attainment of production targets\u2022 Process optimisation, technical leadership and effectiveness\u2022 Resource planning and management\u2022 Costs analysis, monitoring and budget control\u2022 Team leadership and collaboration\u2022 Championing new projects, implementations and improvement of plant systems\u2022 Leading SHE and QMS efforts in the department.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022 A B.Sc. degree in Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent\u2022 A minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in a smelting operation\u2022 Knowledge of pyrometallurgy, slag chemistry, and high-temperature processes\u2022 Must have the drive, initiative, leadership and problem-solving skills<\/p>\n
