\n\t\t\t\tA leading producer of high-quality Opaque beer, committed to sustainable and environmentally friendly production practices is seeking a Waste Management Supervisor to oversee and optimize waste handling processes, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and promoting a zero-waste culture.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tKey Responsibilities:\u2022 Supervise the collection, segregation, storage, and disposal of effluent waste, PET bottles, and other brewery by-products.\u2022 Ensure compliance with local and national environmental regulations regarding waste disposal.\u2022 Develop and implement waste reduction and recycling initiatives to minimize environmental impact.\u2022 Coordinate with production, logistics, and third-party waste management vendors for efficient waste handling.\u2022 Train staff on proper waste handling procedures and safety protocols.\u2022 Maintain accurate records of waste generation, disposal, and recycling activities.\u2022 Conduct regular audits to ensure waste management processes meet company and regulatory standards.\u2022 Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures in waste disposal and recycling.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tRequirements:\u2022 Diploma\/Degree in Environmental Science, Waste Management, Chemical Engineering, or related field.\u2022 Minimum 3 years of experience in waste management, preferably in a food\/beverage or manufacturing environment.\u2022 Strong knowledge of effluent treatment, PET recycling, and industrial waste handling.\u2022 Familiarity with environmental laws and safety standards.\u2022 Problem-solving skills with a focus on sustainability and efficiency.\u2022 Proficiency in record-keeping and reporting.<\/p>\n
