\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tForeign Exchange Trading: Develop and distribute daily FX rates to staff and stakeholders; manage open-currency positions; provide pricing and execute transactions. \u2022\tMoney Market and Interbank Trading: Source deposits and invest in treasury instruments; provide market pricing within approved thresholds; apply counterparty limits and process trades. \u2022\tCash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the bank\u2019s daily liquidity needs in both local and foreign currency markets. \u2022\tMarket Analysis & Research: Continuously analyse global market trends; research interest rates, investment yields, and FX rates to assess potential impacts on the bank. \u2022\tRelationship Management: Maintain effective working relationships with both internal departments and external partners. \u2022\tRegulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to treasury-related ratios such as liquidity and loan-to-deposit ratios, as directed by Management and the Board ALCO. \u2022\tReporting: Prepare accurate and timely treasury-related reports, including liquidity updates and management summaries.\u2022\tAny other duties and responsibilities as provided for in the positions Job Description and or assigned by the Treasury Manager or Head of Treasury.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tA degree in Business Studies\/Banking\/Finance\/Economics or related field\u2022\tOne years\u2019 prior experience in banking is an added advantage.\u2022\tPost graduate qualification an added advantage preferred ACI dealing certificate. \u2022\tExcellent computer literacy, particularly spreadsheet work in Excel.\u2022\tStrong written and oral communication skills.\u2022\tStrong interpersonal skills.\u2022\tGood time management and planning skills.\u2022\tHonest and Integrity.\u2022\tUphold confidentiality and customer privacy in all situations. \u2022\tProfessional. Reacts well under pressure. Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position. \u2022\tStrong numerical and analytical decision making.<\/p>\n
