Job Description
\n\t\t\t\tWe are currently seeking for Core Drill Rig Operator with great communication skills, excellent team players who are highly safety conscious and self-motivated. These individuals will be responsible to carry out drilling activities at the pit effectively and safely to ensure high productivity while enforcing adherence to all company safety and quality standards including SOPs.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t\uf076\tEnsuring all work material is available at workplace\uf076\tReading drill plans and other representations of surface geology and structure.\uf076\tReporting any unusual activity or observations to supervisors to ensure safety and regulatory compliance\uf076\tFollowing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure proper operation of equipment and adherence to regulations\uf076\tCommunicating with onsite geologists and engineers regarding any changes to drill plans or schedules\uf076\tPreparing drilling documentation and maintaining accurate drilling\uf076\tWork with qualified colleagues in an open collaborative atmosphere to clean and repair drill rig.\uf076\tPerform core orientation, sampling, and recovery.\uf076\tMaintain accurate logbook entries and recovery reports.\uf076\tTroubleshoot and perform mechanical maintenance on drill rigs.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\t\uf076\tClass 2 driver\u2019s licence. \uf076\t3 \u2013 5 years of experience in diamond drilling. \uf076\tCertificate of competence in diamond drill rigs\uf076\tExperience in Open cast drill operations and ability to use DTH drill machines.\uf076\tShould be able to pay attention to the smallest details, prioritize and set goals.<\/p>\n
