\n\t\t\t\tOrganization: Development Aid from People to People (DAPP) in ZimbabweLocation: Based in Harare Job Type: Full-time Period: 30 MonthsContract: Fixed Term<\/p>\n
Job Summary: We are seeking a Project Officer who will be responsible for coordinating the project activities in the 2 provinces Mashonaland Centra Central -Bindura and Shamva, Mashonaland East-Murehwa and Mudzi. The Project Officer will be responsible for the achievement of set targets and deliverables for project.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t\uf0a7\tResponsible for supervision and support for 4 field officers in the 4 districts of the project\uf0a7\tEnsure quality implementation and that all contractual obligations are met at district level. \uf0a7\tEnsure good project implementation and compliance in the field in line with donor award regulations and DAPP policies and procedures.\uf0a7\tConstant interface with Provincial Stakeholders through planning and coordination meetings and other development clusters at District and Provincial levels. \uf0a7\tEnsure smooth data flow through the use of the People to People reporting chain and use of the standard data collection and reporting tools meant for the project.\uf0a7\tCoordinate activities across the 4 districts, allowing for experience and lessons sharing\uf0a7\tProvide technical support to Organisations for People with Disabilities (OPDs) and field officers\uf0a7\tDevelop reports which meet DAPP and Donor demands\uf0a7\tReport any developments that may affect project progress to the DAPP Program Director as soon as possible.\uf0a7\tAssess possible project risks and opportunities and share reports with the DAPP Program Director and the DAPP Grants Administrator.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tQUALIFICATION\uf0a7\tDegree in Special Education or any Social Science Degree\uf0a7\tAt least 3 years of experience in disability programming.\uf0a7\tAt Least 3 years\u2019 experience with the NGO environment<\/p>\n
SKILLS AND ABILITIES \u2022\tHighly organized and detail-oriented\u2022\tApproachable manner\u2022\tProficient in Microsoft Office programs\u2022\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills\u2022\tDemonstrated flexibility and adaptability \u2022\tAbility to work in a team environment and under pressure to meet deadlines\u2022\tAbility to work in remote and hard-to-reach areas\u2022\tAbility to make initiatives<\/p>\n
