Job Description
\n\t\t\t\tThe Quality Controller (QC) is responsible for ensuring that all garments produced meet the company\u2019s quality standards and specifications. The QC will conduct in-line and final inspections, monitor production processes, and report on any deviations or defects found during production. The role requires strong attention to detail, sound knowledge of garment construction, and the ability to identify and resolve quality issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tConduct pre-production checks on raw materials, trims, and patterns to ensure they meet quality requirements.<\/p>\n
Perform in-line inspections at various stages of the garment production process (cutting, sewing, finishing).<\/p>\n
Carry out final inspections on finished garments to ensure they meet the specifications and customer expectations.<\/p>\n
Identify and document defects, deviations, or non-conformities, and communicate these to the relevant team (production, design, or management).<\/p>\n
Monitor compliance with quality standards, company procedures, and industry regulations.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with production teams to ensure corrective actions are implemented for identified issues.<\/p>\n
Maintain quality inspection reports, records, and logs accurately and in a timely manner.<\/p>\n
Train or guide production workers on basic quality standards and proper handling techniques to reduce rejection rates.<\/p>\n
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.<\/p>\n
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and cleanliness standards within the inspection and production areas.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tMinimum Qualification: Diploma or Certificate in Textiles, Fashion and Design, or related field.<\/p>\n
Experience: At least 2\u20133 years in a similar QC or garment inspection role in a clothing manufacturing setup.<\/p>\n
Good understanding of garment construction, stitching techniques, fabrics, and finishing.<\/p>\n
Ability to read and interpret technical packs, measurements, and quality standards.<\/p>\n
Strong attention to detail and excellent observation skills.Ability to use excel<\/p>\n
Effective communication skills for reporting and liaising with other departments.<\/p>\n
Proficient in using basic tools such as measuring tapes, calipers, and garment specification sheets.<\/p>\n
