In pursuant to these values, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operating Theatre Nurse to join our surgical team and provide excellent services to our patients.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tCommunicating and informing patients and their families about the surgery, its risks and benefits.\u2022\tAssessing patients before surgery.\u2022\tSupporting the anesthetists.\u2022\tPreparing all the instruments that are necessary for the surgical procedure.\u2022\tInspecting the operating theatre and making sure it is fit for purpose.\u2022\tBriefing with the team.\u2022\tSending for the patient and moving them to theatre.\u2022\tProviding high standards of skilled care and support during each phase of a patient\u2019s preoperative care.\u2022\tSending the patient to recovery.\u2022\tAny other duties that may be prescribed by the supervisor.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tDiploma in Operating Theatre Nursing. \u2022\tCurrent Practicing Certificate \u2022\tPrior OTN work experience is an added advantage.\u2022\tEssential Specialist Skills\/Knowledge \u2022\tExcellent supervisory skills.\u2022\tGood problem solving and decision-making skills.\u2022\tExcellent communication skills.<\/p>\n
