\n\t\t\t\tEmpowerBank is inviting dynamic and transformational leaders who are qualified and experienced persons to apply for the post of Chief Executive Officer. The Chief Executive Officer\u2019s mandate is to provide institutional leadership and oversight, develop, and drive the vision, mission and strategy of the Microbank. The candidate will be reporting to the Board of Directors.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tProvide strategic leadership to lead, grow and diversify the Deposit-Taking Microfinance Institution (DTMFI), within its mandate.\u2022\tLead the promotion, development and empowerment of youths\u2019 projects by advancing loans and providing them with the developmental support.\u2022\tInitiates, propose, implement and monitor policies, systems and procedures.\u2022\tDevelop and maintain positive and progressive relationships with the wider range of internal and external stakeholders. \u2022\tResponsible for identifying new business and investment opportunities and make necessary investments based on financial viability and return on investment. \u2022\tEnsure that the Microbank complies with all statutory and legal requirements.\u2022\tSupervises, manages the staff, activities, funds and property and perform other functions on behalf of the Board as may be assigned from time to time.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\t\uf0fc\tA relevant Masters\u2019 degree.\uf0fc\tProven skills in strategic planning and management as well as ability to plan and manage change.\uf0fc\tProven investment and financial experience.\uf0fc\tBe a well networked decision maker with excellent negotiation skills.\uf0fc\tA mature executive with the ability to lead different and dynamic teams.\uf0fc\tDemonstrable ability to develop long term strategic relationships with key stakeholders in government and other national and international institutions.\uf0fc\tAt least ten (10) years relevant working experience at senior management level, must be innovative, a self starter and of high integrity.\uf0fc\tYoung and qualified persons are encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n
