Job Description
\n\t\t\t\tWe are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial tasks. The ideal candidate must be highly proficient in Pastel Accounting Software and capable of maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tMaintain accurate records of all financial transactions<\/p>\n
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded<\/p>\n
Reconcile bank statements and accounts<\/p>\n
Prepare monthly financial reports and cash flow statements<\/p>\n
Manage accounts payable and receivable<\/p>\n
Maintain petty cash records and stock control where applicable<\/p>\n
Process payroll and statutory returns (ZIMRA, NSSA, NEC etc.)<\/p>\n
Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor queries<\/p>\n
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures<\/p>\n
Support the Finance Manager with other relevant duties<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tMinimum of 2 years\u2019 bookkeeping experience<\/p>\n
Proficiency in Pastel Accounting is a must<\/p>\n
Knowledge of Zimbabwean statutory requirements (ZIMRA, NSSA, NEC etc.)<\/p>\n
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills<\/p>\n
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines<\/p>\n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<\/p>\n
Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping or related field<\/p>\n
