\n\t\t\t\tBantwana Zimbabwe (BZ) seeks an experienced candidate for the role of Communications Graduate Intern to support an existing project to reduce the vulnerability of orphans and vulnerable children (OVC), adolescent girls, and young women (AGYW) to HIV in Zimbabwe. BZ is a leader in the development of high quality, comprehensive OVC service delivery in high HIV prevalence districts in Zimbabwe. BZ brings a significant track record of excellence and innovation in improving access to and quality of integrated OVC care and support, with a particular focus on strengthening coordination and layering of care, protection, and support services across the HIV continuum of response, for vulnerable children and their caregivers at community, district, provincial and national levels.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tGraphic Design & Content Creation\u2022\tAssist in the design of visual content for Bantwana Zimbabwe social media, reports, flyers, brochures, infographics, presentations, and other communications materials.\u2022\tEnsure all visuals align with the organization\u2019s branding guidelines and tone.\u2022\tSupport the development of branded templates and layout designs for internal and external use.<\/p>\n
Digital Communications\u2022\tAssist in managing the organization\u2019s social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).\u2022\tSchedule and publish content, monitor engagement, and generate analytics reports.\u2022\tHelp maintain and update the organization\u2019s website with fresh content and visuals.Storytelling & Documentation\u2022\tSupport content gathering in the field (photos, interviews, video snippets).\u2022\tAssist in developing human-interest stories, success stories, and blog articles.\u2022\tEdit and caption images and videos for various platforms.General Communications Support\u2022\tSupport internal and external event planning and visibility.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tA recent graduate with a degree in Graphic Design and Communications\u2022\tStrong proficiency in graphic design suites like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other design tools like Canva, Figma, or CorelDRAW.\u2022\tSolid understanding of branding, layout design, and visual storytelling.\u2022\tFamiliarity with social media platforms and basic content management systems (e.g., WordPress).\u2022\tPhotography and video editing skills are a strong advantage.\u2022\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\u2022\tAbility to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.\u2022\tTeam player with creativity, curiosity, and attention to detail.<\/p>\n
