\n\t\t\t\tAn exciting opportunity for the position of Accounts Officer – Debtors has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced person at Allied Timbers Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd. Allied Timbers Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd is an extensive, local and international provider of high quality and durable timber-based solutions for both industrial, domestic and end user markets. The successful incumbent will report to the Financial Accountant and shall be based in Harare.<\/p>\n
Job Summary To produce income statements and undertake reconciliations of Allied Timbers Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd accounts.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\ta)\tManage Debtors accounts and ensure that they are in line with credit limits and payment termsb)\tPerform Debtors\u2019 reconciliation and prepare an accurate debtors agingc)\tPerforming Daily Sales reconciliations to actual cash received and electronic transfer done in ATZ bank accountsd)\tPrepare and process exchange control clearances and acquittal of Bills of Entry and CD1s.e)\tPrepare and compile statutory returns and submit on timef)\t Prepare year-end procedures for debtors control account and Audit fileg)\tPrepares & posts of journals, stocks, depreciation, payroll etc.h)\tPrepares year end procedures for control accounts and Audit preparation<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\ta)\tDegree in Accounting or Finance or Part B Professional studies CIS, CIMAb)\tMinimum of 2 -years\u2019 experience in Accounting or Finance<\/p>\n
Skills and Knowledge a)\tAttention to detailb)\tNumeracyc)\tBasic computer skills<\/p>\n
