Job Description
\n\t\t\t\tSafeguarding Officers\/ Social Workers are responsible for providing counseling and support services to learners. They work with children, parents, teachers, school administrators and the wider community to support the mental and emotional health needs of learners and their families.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tIdentifying children\/ adults in need of assistance \u2022\tHelping children\/ adults cope with and solve everyday problems.\u2022\tAdvocating for and developing plans to improve children\/adults wellbeing.\u2022\tConducting specialized group services, including therapeutic support groups and running parenting groups.\u2022\tResponding to children\/adults in crisis situations.\u2022\tEvaluating and monitoring improvement of learners.\u2022\tConduct periodic home visits for learners.\u2022\tAssisting in the creation of individualized interventions plans for learners<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tDiploma in Social Work or equivalentDegree in Social Work and added advantage<\/p>\n
