\n\t\t\t\tWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Buyer to join our team at a leading pharmaceutical and beauty care manufacturing plant in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials at competitive prices.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tIdentify and evaluate new suppliers and sources of raw materials and ingredients\u2022\tNegotiate prices, delivery terms, and contracts with suppliers\u2022\tPlace orders and ensure timely delivery of materials\u2022\tMonitor inventory levels and optimize stock quantities\u2022\tCollaborate with production and quality control teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements\u2022\tDevelop and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tDegree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, pharmaceutical technician or related field\u2022\tMinimum 3 years of experience in procurement or buying role\u2022\tStrong knowledge of pharmaceutical and beauty care manufacturing processes\u2022\tExcellent negotiation and communication skills\u2022\tAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities\u2022\tExperience in the pharmaceutical or beauty care industry\u2022\tCertification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CSCP)\u2022\tProficiency in procurement software and systems\u2022\tMembership of reputable professional bodies<\/p>\n
