{"id":4070,"date":"2025-11-28T16:02:39","date_gmt":"2025-11-28T16:02:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zimbabwe\/job\/infant-teacher\/"},"modified":"2025-12-13T00:36:48","modified_gmt":"2025-12-13T00:36:48","slug":"infant-teacher","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zimbabwe\/?post_type=job_listing&p=4070","title":{"rendered":"Infant Teacher"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Description<br \/>\n\t\t\t\tInfant Teacher<\/p>\n<p>(Job Ref: HGPS 27\/11\/25\/1)                                    Position title: \t \tInfant TeacherWorking location: \t\tBulawayoSupervisor: \t\t\tSchool Head  \t<\/p>\n<p>Mission of the position: <\/p>\n<p>The role ensures supervision and guidance to enable quality education of learners from grade 1 to 3.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities<br \/>\n\t\t\t\tKey performance areas and main responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tPlanning, preparing and delivering lessons to all students in the class;\u2022\t Prepares the schemes of work, lesson plans and teaching media to guide and facilitate the teaching-learning processes.\u2022\t Marks the learners\u2019 written exercises and tests assigned to the learners to assess the learner\u2019s performance and progress.\u2022\t Offers remedial and extension work to learners with different learning styles and levels.\u2022\tMaintains the class inventory of furniture, textbooks and other teaching-learning materials.\u2022\tDelivers lessons, facilitates class discussions and activities, assigns oral, written exercises, practical activities and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of teaching\/learning processes.\u2022\tPrepares, maintains and updates various teaching records including the class register.\u2022\t Participates in co-curricular activities through coaching and supervising the learners.\u2022\tInitiates and develops a classroom disaster risk management plan.\u2022\t\u2022 Liaises and Interacts with the parents\/guardians on issues concerning the learner.\u2022\tActing as chief counsellor for learners by helping address their special needs.\u2022\tKeep and update the departmental files containing timetable, staff details, enrollment statistics, departmental policies, syllabi for curriculum learning areas, minutes of departmental meetings, supervision reports etc.\u2022\tTake care of the welfare of the learners in the department, in terms of health and safety.\u2022\tAdminister the enrolment of learners in liaison with School Principal, Vice Principal and TIC.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience<br \/>\n\t\t\t\tRequirements\u2022 5 \u2018O\u2019 Levels including Maths and English; Diploma in Education with 5 years\u2019 experience\u2022 Degree in relevant field is an added advantage.<\/p>\n<p>  Attributes <\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tAnalytic and mature\u2022\tTeam Player\u2022\tCan work with minimum supervision\u2022\tGood written and Verbal communication Skills.\u2022\tAble to work with minimum supervision<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\tHow to Apply<br \/>\n\t\t\t\tHow to Apply<\/p>\n<p>If you believe you are the right candidate for any of the above position, please send your detailed curriculum vitae (CV), and photocopies of academic certificates.Applications should be submitted electronically indicating the position you are applying for in the subject line and send to the address given.
