\n\t\t\t\t1. Contract Lecturer: Artificial Intelligence & Digital TransformationKey Responsibilities:\u2022\tConduct applied research in AI, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Digital Twins, or Industrial IoT for mining applications.\u2022\tTeach modules in relevant fields.Minimum Qualifications:\u2022\tBSc Honours Degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Data Science, or a closely related field.\u2022\tDemonstrable experience and a strong research interest in one of the key areas mentioned.\u2022\tProficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).\u2022\tStudying towards an MSc\/PhD in a relevant field is a requirement________________________________________2. Contract Lecturer: Foundry & Industrial MetallurgyKey Responsibilities:\u2022\tLead research projects focusing on developing local alloys from Zimbabwean mineral resources and valorizing mining waste.\u2022\tTeach modules in metallurgy or materials science.\u2022\tCollaborate with industry on practical metallurgical challenges.Minimum Qualifications:\u2022\tBSc in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering.\u2022\tPractical experience in pyrometallurgy, hydrometallurgy, or foundry practice.\u2022\tStudying towards an MSc\/PhD in a relevant field is a requirement.________________________________________3. Contract Lecturer: Drone ApplicationsKey Responsibilities:\u2022\tExecute research projects involving UAV-based applications for volumetric measurements, slope stability monitoring, and environmental compliance.\u2022\tTeach modules including Geomatics, Surveying, GIS, or Remote Sensing.\u2022\tRemote Pilot License (RPL) is an added advantage \u2022\tProcess and analyze data from photogrammetry (e.g., Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape) and LiDAR.Minimum Qualifications:\u2022\tBSc in Geomatics, Surveying, GIS, Remote Sensing, or Geospatial Engineering.\u2022\tHands-on experience in UAV piloting and data processing.\u2022\tStudying towards an MSc\/PhD in a relevant field is a requirement________________________________________4. Contract Lecturer: Analytical ChemistryKey Responsibilities\u2022\tDeliver lectures and practical laboratory sessions in analytical chemistry, including spectroscopy, chromatography, electrochemical analysis, and quality control techniques.\u2022\tConduct research in analytical method development, environmental chemistry, and industrial applications relevant to the mining and manufacturing sectors.\u2022\tEngage with industry partners to advance applied research and innovation in chemical analysis.Minimum Qualifications\u2022\tBSc Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a closely related discipline.\u2022\tStrong grounding in instrumental analysis, environmental chemistry, and laboratory-based research.\u2022\tRegistration for, or active progress towards, an MSc or PhD in Analytical Chemistry or a related field (mandatory).\u2022\tEvidence of research capability and interest in applied problem-solving.________________________________________5. Contract Lecturer: Environmental Geology & SustainabilityKey Responsibilities\u2022\tTeach modules in environmental geology, geophysics, and geochemistry, including field methods, subsurface mapping, mineral exploration techniques, and environmental assessment.\u2022\tConduct research on earth systems, environmental monitoring, mineral resource sustainability, and geophysical or geochemical applications in mining and water management.\u2022\tFacilitate laboratory and field-based learning, integrating GIS, remote sensing, and modern analytical tools.Minimum Qualifications\u2022\tBSc Degree in Geology, Environmental Geology, Geophysics, Geochemistry, or an equivalent earth science discipline.\u2022\tDemonstrated competence in geophysical surveying, geochemical analysis, and environmental assessment methods.\u2022\tRegistration for, or active progress towards, an MSc or PhD in Geology, Environmental Science, Geophysics, or Geochemistry (mandatory).\u2022\tEvidence of research engagement and strong field\/laboratory skills.<\/p>\n
