Job Description
\n\t\t\t\tThe incumbent will report directly to the Storesman and will be responsible for ensuring efficient inventory management and smooth stores operations<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\ta) Setting up and maintaining stock control systemsb) Draw required stock and keep Bin Cards correctly updatedc) Ensure Minimum and Maximum stock thresholds are maintained at all timesd) Generating and maintaining bill of material and issuing stocks as per bill of materiale) Conducting stock-take and spot-check routinesf) Variance analysis and inventory valuation reportg) Updating computerized stock systemsh) Coordinate with procurement and other departments for timely replenishment of stock.i) Invoicing and making sure that the invoice has been signed upon delivery of the stock.j) Administer all paperwork and delivery notes as per defined proceduresk) Dispatches finished stock items to client departments and keeps record of the same.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\ta) 5 O\u2019 Level subjectsb) Diploma in Purchasing & Supply or equivalentc) Proven experience in inventory management or stores operations.d) Good organizational and record-keeping skills.e) Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment and tools.f) Attention to detail and accuracy.g) Good communication skills.h) Knowledge of safety and health standards related to storage.i) Knowledge of Pastel Accounting an advantage.J) A valid Class 4 driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n
