\n\t\t\t\tDomboshava MedClinic, a growing peri-urban primary healthcare facility serving the Domboshava community, invites applications from a committed and experienced Medical Practitioner for the role of Part-Time Medical Practitioner-In-Charge.This position is suited to a clinician who is passionate about maternal and child health, particularly safe baby delivery and obstetrics and gynaecology\u2013related care, and who wishes to provide clinical leadership within a structured part-time engagement.Position SummaryThe Medical Practitioner-In-Charge will provide overall clinical leadership and supervision of medical services at Domboshava MedClinic, with a strong focus on safe maternity care, maternal wellbeing, and child health, while ensuring ethical, high-quality patient care.Engagement & Remuneration\u2022\tPart-time engagement on a sessional basis, for a minimum of two (2) days per week, including Saturdays from 10:00am to 3:00pm\u2022\tFlexible scheduling by mutual agreement for additional sessions\u2022\tAvailable for clinical advice and escalation outside physical sessions via phone call, text, or WhatsApp on a 24\/7 basis\u2022\tCompetitive and negotiable remuneration aligned to availability, experience, and scope of responsibility<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tProvide clinical leadership and oversight of all medical services during scheduled sessions\u2022\tProvide clinical input and supervision related to maternal, neonatal, and child health services, including safe deliveries and obstetric care within scope\u2022\tConsult, diagnose, and manage patients in line with national clinical guidelines\u2022\tSupervise, mentor, and support nursing and midwifery staff\u2022\tEnsure clinical governance, ethical practice, and accurate medical documentation\u2022\tParticipate in clinical audits, protocol development, and quality improvement initiatives\u2022\tProvide clinical advice and escalation support to on-site staff outside physical sessions\u2022\tEnsure compliance with Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) standards and inspections<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tMBChB or equivalent medical qualification\u2022\tRegistered with the Medical and Dental Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe (MDPCZ)\u2022\tValid practising certificate\u2022\tMinimum 2\u20135 years post-internship clinical experience\u2022\tDemonstrated interest or experience in maternal and child health, obstetrics, and gynaecological care\u2022\tPrior leadership or supervisory experience (an advantage)\u2022\tHigh ethical standards, professionalism, and good communication skillsEngagement & Remuneration\u2022\tPart-time engagement on a sessional basis, for a minimum of two (2) days per week, including Saturdays from 10:00am to 3:00pm\u2022\tFlexible scheduling by mutual agreement for additional sessions\u2022\tAvailable for clinical advice and escalation outside physical sessions via phone call, text, or WhatsApp on a 24\/7 basis\u2022\tCompetitive and negotiable remuneration aligned to availability, experience, and scope of responsibility<\/p>\n
