\n\t\t\t\tThe Graduate Electrical Engineer will support the engineering team in the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mine electrical systems. The role is ideal for a recent electrical engineering graduate looking to gain hands-on experience, develop technical skills, and grow into a professional engineering role.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t\u2022\tAssist in the design and drafting of electrical drawings (using AutoCAD\/AutoCAD Electrical\/EPLAN).\u2022\tParticipate in electrical load calculations, cable sizing, and equipment selection.\u2022\tSupport installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.\u2022\tPerform electrical inspections, troubleshooting, and reporting on faults.\u2022\tAssist in preparing technical documentation, BOMs, specifications, and project reports.\u2022\tWork with senior engineers on power systems, motor control, instrumentation, PLCs, and automation.\u2022\tEnsure compliance with safety standards, codes, and company procedures.\u2022\tParticipate in site visits, audits, and project review meetings.\u2022\tSupport maintenance teams where required.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tMinimum Qualifications\u2022\tBSc \/ BEng \/ in ELECTRICAL or ELECTRONICS Engineering.\u2022\tKnowledge of electrical principles, power systems, and basic control systems.\u2022\tFamiliarity with engineering software (AutoCAD, MATLAB, ETAP).\u2022\tStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\u2022\tGood communication and teamwork abilities.\u2022\tMembership or registration with Zimbabwe Institute of Engineering Added Advantages\u2022\tInternship or industrial attachment experience.\u2022\tKnowledge of PLCs, VSDs, instrumentation, or industrial equipment.\u2022\tExperience with renewable energy systems.<\/p>\n
