Job Description
\n\t\t\t\tWe are seeking qualified, experienced, and self-motivated Motor Mechanics \/ Technicians to join our Dulys Bulawayo Branch workshop. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring high-quality vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs in line with manufacturer specifications and company standards.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tDiagnose mechanical, faults using approved diagnostic tools.Carry out routine vehicle servicing in accordance with manufacturer schedulesPerform engine, transmission, suspension, braking, steering, and electrical repairsConduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and road tests where requiredAccurately complete job cards, inspection sheets, and all workshop documentationEnsure all work carried out meets quality standards before vehicle releaseIdentify additional repair requirements and communicate findings to the Service Manager Manager or Service AdvisorMaintain workshop tools, equipment, and diagnostic machines in good working orderEnsure correct usage and accountability of tools, parts, and consumablesObserve and comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulationsMaintain a clean, safe, and organised work environmentSafeguard customer vehicles, accessories, and personal property at all timesWork collaboratively with other technicians, service advisors, and parts personnelAttend training sessions and keep up to date with new vehicle technologiesSupport the achievement of workshop productivity and turnaround time targetsMinimise comebacks by ensuring right-first-time repairs<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tClass 1 Motor Mechanic Journeyman trained qualification or equivalentAt least 2\u20133 years\u2019 practical experience in a dealership or reputable workshopStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsExperience with modern vehicle systems will be an added advantageValid Class 4 Driver\u2019s License (Class 2 is an added advantage)<\/p>\n
