Job Description
\n\t\t\t\tWe are seeking the services of well-groomed Barman who will be responsible for receiving, preparing, and selling beverage orders to guests in a friendly and timely manner. The purpose of this position is to interact with the guests and to ensure that they have a great experience at the bar.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t\uf0b7 Receiving payments, punching orders, and giving change to customers as needed.\uf0b7 Operating point of sale (POS) systems and handling cash \u2013 following all cash handling procedures.\uf0b7 Making sure the beverage and food orders are made correctly and looks presentable.\uf0b7 Maintaining stock levels to prevent shortages of critical items and ensure the availability of items on the menu.\uf0b7 Assessing customer needs and preferences, and making appropriate recommendations.\uf0b7 Assisting in ordering all liquor and beverage as required.\uf0b7 Participating in bar promotions and events.\uf0b7 Entering closing stocks into the system at the end of the shift.\uf0b7 Collecting feedback from customers concerning our products and services.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tInterested candidates should possess strong numerical and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well within a fast paced environment.\uf0b7 Excellent customer service, combined with active listening and effective communication skills.\uf0b7 Ability to process numerous payments in a fast paced environment.\uf0b7 Knowledge of beer, liquor and wine is an added advantage.\uf0b7 Candidates must be flexible and willing to work at night.\uf0b7 A minimum of three years work experience as a Bartender.\uf0b7 5 Ordinary level subjects including English Language and Mathematics.\uf0b7 A Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality, or any relevant Certificate or Diploma will be an added advantage\uf0b7 Must be 25 years and above<\/p>\n
