\n\t\t\t\tJob Title: Finance Student InternLocation: Matobo x 1<\/p>\n
Purpose of PositionFinance Intern will be responsible for assisting the Program Finance Officer in Finance and Administration day to day activities.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tMajor responsibilities\u2022 Assist in assets update and counts.\u2022 Assist in stock counts\u2022 Photocopying of all documents as and when necessary (fuel & tollgate receipts)\u2022 Assist in monthly variance explanation (to ensure timely submission)\u2022 Ensure petty cash voucher is complete before cash is issued out. Completeness involves – adequate transactional codes, properly reviewed and approved by relevant personnel, signed by the requestor, purpose clearly stated and adheres to petty cash policy, date issued, amount clearly stated.\u2022 Gather supporting documents for audit purposes, ensuring completeness then submitting to PFO for checking.\u2022 Ensure the financial and accounting integrity of World Vision Zimbabwe.\u2022 Recognize the importance of practicing organization core values\u2022Punctuality in working hours and effective use of working hours for organizational business.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tQualifications, Experience and skills required\u2022 Studying towards Finance and Accounting Degree.\u2022 Experience in an Accounts Department, and handling of cash experience is an added advantage.Required to have strong computer skills, knowledge of Computerized Accounting Packages will be an added advantage, also EXCEL and WORD.\u2022 Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Ability to handle confidential matters and a high degree of professional integrity.<\/p>\n
