\n\t\t\t\tCORPORATE COMPLIANCE SUPERVISOR, CORPORATE RISK & COMPLIANCE \u2013LEVEL 9 (1 POST)<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t4.1 Key Responsibilities\u25aa Implements and maintains the Authority\u2019s compliance management policies andprocedures.\u25aa Implements and manages an effective legal compliance programme.\u25aa Conducts compliance gap analysis and providing timely advice and support for legalcompliance issues.\u25aa Provides guidance on the proper application and interpretation of laws andregulations affecting compliance of the operations of the Authority.\u25aa Contributes to the effective management of legal and compliance risks.\u25aa Ensures proactive and timely monitoring, identification dissemination and advice oncompliance and regulatory developments, changes and practices associated risks.\u25aa Ensures adequacy of controls to mitigate legal compliance risks and roll outcompliance policies and procedures.\u25aa Establishes and maintaining effective processes, including training, advice andsupport, to ensure that compliance policies, procedures and standards are timeouslyand effectively implemented.\u25aa Implements a Compliance Monitoring Programme and ensure timely conduct ofcompliance assessment \/ reviews.4\u25aa Prepares and maintains a compliance tracking log.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\t4.2 Job Skills and Competencies\u25aa Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and beyond stipulated hours.\u25aa Unquestionable integrity and commitment to duty.\u25aa Ability to work during odd hours in an area with poor road terrain and bad weatherconditions.\u25aa Good analytical skills.\u25aa Ability to interact with various departments such as Legal Compliance, Audit andinternal and external stakeholders in Information Technology.\u25aa Good communication and interpersonal skills.\u25aa Good organisational, people and time management skills.<\/p>\n
4.3 Qualifications and Experience\u25aa A Bachelor\u2019s degree in Law \/ Risk Management \/ Business Studies \/ Fiscal Studies \/ICT \/ Accounting or equivalent.\u25aa At least three (3) years\u2019 relevant post graduate experience in Enterprise Compliance,Legal, Governance or Risk Management.\u25aa Experience in Customs \/ Domestic Taxes or Tax environment is an added advantage.\u25aa A professional qualification in Compliance & Governance Certification \/ RiskManagement Certification is an added advantage.\u25aa An MBA \/ MSc or equivalent is an added advantage.<\/p>\n
