\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\t1.1 Key Responsibilities\u25aa Provides strategic advisory services to Business and ICT on emerging technologies,digital innovation and evolving cyber threats affecting the Authority,\u25aa Interprets and translates international ICT risk, security and data protectionstandards into Authority-wide governance requirements.\u25aa Evaluates Authority-wide ICT investments to assess risk exposure, value realization,and alignment with strategic objectives.\u25aa Assesses ICT project risks from initiation through implementation and post-go-livestages.\u25aa Reviews and validates Business Continuity Plans, BIAs, and ICT Disaster RecoveryPlans.\u25aa Provides governance oversight during disaster recovery simulations and incidentresponse testing.\u25aa Monitors system changes and verify replication between primary and DRenvironments.\u25aa Provides strategic oversight of the ICT Risk Register.\u25aa Prioritises ICT risks based on enterprise impact and risk appetite.\u25aa Assesses Authority systems for security vulnerabilities and control weaknesses.\u25aa Reviews access management, authentication, and logging controls.\u25aa Evaluates communication security and data leakage risks\u25aa Assesses data protection maturity of vendors.\u25aa Reviews data processing agreements\u25aa Provides enterprise-wide oversight of compliance with data protection legislation.\u25aa Monitors adherence to Cyber & Data Protection Act and SI 155 of 2024.\u25aa Embeds data protection requirements into ICT and business processes.\u25aa Advises senior management on privacy risks and mitigation strategies\u25aa Identifies high-risk data processing activities.\u25aa Facilitates privacy risk analysis with stakeholders.\u25aa Recommends safeguards and mitigation measures.\u25aa Tracks implementation of DPIA actions.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t1.2 Job Skills and Competencies\u25aa Ability to work under pressure,\u25aa Ability to communicate at all levels,\u25aa Ability to work both independently and as part of a team,\u25aa Unquestionable integrity,\u25aa Computer literacy<\/p>\n
1.3 Qualifications and Experience\u25aa Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, ComputerScience, Information Security, Risk Management, or a related field is a must.\u25aa Postgraduate qualification in Information Systems Management, Computer Science,Risk Management is a must\u25aa At least eight (8) years postgraduate experience in ICT \/ Risk Management\u25aa Certified Data Protection Officer Certification (POTRAZ) is a must\u25aa Professional certification in ICT Risk, Information Security, or Governance, such as:CRISC, CISM, or CISA, ISO \/ IEC 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor ISO \/ IEC27701 Lead Implementer \/ Auditor or COBIT Foundation \/ Design andImplementation is a must\u25aa Experience in Customs \/ Domestic Taxes or Tax environment is an added advantage.\u25aa A thorough understanding of risk management practices is a must<\/p>\n
