First Capital Bank lends, invests, and protects money for customers and clients worldwide.First Capital Bank Zimbabwe is looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join the Human Resources team, reporting to the Human Resources Operations Manager.The Human Resources Generalist serves as a key member of the HR team, responsible for executing a wide range of HR functions to support the organization’s workforce. This role involves handling employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and administrative tasks. The HR Generalist works closely with management and employees to foster a positive work environment, promote organizational culture, and ensure adherence to employment laws and policies.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tManage end-to-end recruitment for junior roles, including graduates.\u2022 Support hiring managers with job adverts, screening and interview coordination.\u2022 Participate in candidate assessments and provide hiring recommendations.\u2022 Ensure recruitment processes are well documented, thorough, compliant and aligned to approved structures.\u2022 Support onboarding, induction processes and employee life cycle processes.\u2022 Maintain employee data integrity.\u2022 Assist with reporting and people metrics.\u2022 Support change implementation from an operational.\u2022 Support objective-setting and performance review processes.\u2022 Track completion and quality of performance documentation.\u2022 Assist with implementation of development plans.\u2022 Support calibration preparation as required.\u2022 Provide first-line HR advice to managers and employees on policies and procedures.\u2022 Support implementation of agreed people initiatives within the business area.\u2022 Ensure consistent application of HR policies and processes.\u2022 Maintain accurate HR documentation and records.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience\u2022Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology or any relevant Business Degree.\u2022Professional certification like IPMZ will be an added advantage.\u2022Minimum 2 years experience in an HR environment.\u2022Demonstrated knowledge of payroll processing and systems.\u2022Strong understanding of HR processes.\u2022Strong understanding of the grievance and disciplinary procedure.\u2022Demonstrated ability to support end to end recruitment process.\u2022An appreciation of banking processes and regulatory environment.\u2022Analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint.<\/p>\n
