\n\t\t\t\tWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Job Costing Clerk & Cashier to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate job costing, efficient invoicing, and professional handling of all customer payments within a fast-paced workshop environment.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tKey Responsibilities:Job Costing:\u2022 Accurately cost all completed job cards, ensuring correct allocation of labour, parts, and sublet charges\u2022 Verify that all work performed is supported by proper documentation and authorisation\u2022 Ensure all parts used are correctly billed and reconciled with job cards\u2022 Liaise with Service and Parts Department to resolve discrepancies before invoicingCashiering:\u2022 Receive and process customer payments (cash, card,EFT) accurately and efficiently\u2022 Issue receipts and ensure all transactions are correctly recorded in the system\u2022 Balance daily cash-ups and reconcile with system reports\u2022 Ensure adherence to company cash handling procedures and internal controls\u2022 Provide professional and courteous service to all customers at point of paymentAdministrative Duties:\u2022 Assist with filing, document control, and audit preparation\u2022 Maintain accurate records in line with dealership and manufacturer standards\u2022 Support the Accounts and Service departments where required<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tMinimum Requirements:\u2022 Proven experience in a similar role within the automotive industry (preferably a dealership environment)\u2022 Strong understanding of job costing and workshop processes\u2022 Experience with dealer management systems (DMS) will be an advantage\u2022 High level of accuracy and attention to detail\u2022 Strong numerical and reconciliation skills\u2022 Excellent communication and customer service skills\u2022 Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesKey Competencies:\u2022 Integrity and accountability\u2022 Strong organisational skills\u2022 Attention to detail\u2022 Teamwork and collaboration\u2022 Customer focus<\/p>\n
