Job Description
\n\t\t\t\tWe are looking for an experienced and qualified Head Chef to organize the kitchen\u2019s activities. You will be the first in command in the facilities and will create and inspect dishes before they arrive at the customers ensuring high quality and contentment.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tControl and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activitiesConstruct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servingsApprove and \u201cpolish\u201d dishes before they reach the customerPlan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortagesArrange for repairs when necessaryRemedy any problems or defectsBe fully in charge of managing and training kitchen staffOversee the work of subordinatesCome up with monthly budgets for the kitchen Maintain records fot payroll purposes and attendance registerComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standardsFoster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-oworkersOrganize stock and equipmentOrder supplies, cleaniliness and security of kitchen stockHandle customer complaints and queries.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tProven experience as Head Chef5 or more years of experience in a similar roleExceptional proven ability of kitchen managementAbility in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progressOutstanding communication and leadership skillsUp-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processesGood understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)Credentials in health and safety trainingDegree in Culinary science or related certificate<\/p>\n
