\t\t\t\tDuties and Responsibilities
\n\t\t\t\tKey ResponsibilitiesICT Strategy, Policy and Planning\u2022 Develop and implement ICT strategies, policies, and standards aligned to GMBs mandate.\u2022 Provide strategic leadership in driving digital transformation and automation across all business units.\u2022 Manage ICT budgets, resource allocation, and support network expansion across the Head Office and depots.Research and recommend technologies to enhance grain procurement, storage, and distribution systems.\u2022 Champion innovation by identifying emerging technologies and aligning them with enterprise goals.Systems Analysis, Development and Implementation\u2022 Analyse, design, and implement systems supporting finance, logistics, and grain management operations.\u2022 \u2022 Oversee SAP enhancements, integrations, and procurement of compatible ICT solutions.\u2022 Manage vendor relationships and Service LevelAgreements (SLAs).\u2022 Lead enterprise systems integration to ensure seamless data flow and decision-making across departments.Network and Infrastructure Management\u2022 Ensure reliable LAN\/WAN connectivity across the Head Office and nationwide depots.\u2022 Monitor and maintain ICT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and system uptime.\u2022 Drive modernisation of ICT infrastructure in line with global best practices and organisational growthSAP Systems Administration and Support\u2022 Manage SAP system pertormance, configuration, and availability.\u2022 \u2022 Support integration with key business functions and provide ongoing user training and support.ICT Security and Compliance\u2022 Implement and maintain ICT security controls to sateguard organisational systems and data.\u2022 Ensure compliance with Government regulations andGMB operational standards.\u2022 Provide leadership in enterprise risk management related to ICT and data governance. raining, Leadership and User SupporProvide continuous IC1 training and technica support to users across all locations.\u2022 Supervise ICT staff, set performance targets, and drive skills development.\u2022 Build and lead a high-performing ICT team aligned to organisational strategy and innovation goals.\u2022 Promote a culture of continuous improvement, digital adoption, and innovation across the organisation.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\tQualifications and Experience
\n\t\t\t\tMinimum Qualifications and Experience\u2022 Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field (mandatory).\u2022 Bachelor’s degree in Management InformationSystems, Computer Science, or equivalent (mandatory).\u2022 Knowledge of SAP and Protessional ICTcertifications is essential.\u2022 Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in systems management or a similar environment\u2022 At least five (5) ‘O’ Level passes, including English Language and Mathematics.Professional Certifications added advantage\u2022 Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching.\u2022 Cisco Certihed Network Associate (CCNA) Security.\u2022 Certified Ethical Hacker (CER).Core Competencies\u2022 Strong ICT literacy with advanced technical\u2022 Good understanding of GMB operations, including grain procurement, storage, and depot-based rocesses\u2022 Strategic thinking and planning capability\u2022 Proven leadership ability to drive enterprise-wideICT transformation initiatives.\u2022 Strong innovation mindset with capacity to identity and implement digital solutions that enhance organisational ethciency and competitiveness.\u2022 Risk management and problem-solving skills.\u2022 Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.\u2022 High level of innovation and attention to detail\u2022 Ability to work under pressure in a decentralised, high-volume operational environment.\u2022 Strong organisational, teamwork, and time management skills.<\/p>\n
